Olivia parsons, Ba
Clinical Fellow

Olivia is a clinical fellow at Therapy in the City’s Manhattan offices, where she works with adults and couples facing a range of mental health challenges. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and collaborative space that fosters self-exploration, deeper understanding of relational dynamics, and meaningful personal growth.

With a relational and systemic perspective, Olivia takes a personalized and holistic approach to therapy. She integrates evidence-based modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients navigate life’s complexities and strengthen their emotional well-being.

Before joining Therapy in the City, Olivia earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange County, California.  She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University.  In between getting her BA and going back to school to get her master degree, Olivia was in the corporate world doing executive recruiting, marketing, and sales.

Olivia strives to provide a warm, empathic environment where clients can explore emotional growth, navigate life transitions, and recognize their potential for change.
