Fiona Joffroy, BA
Clinical Fellow  

Fiona is a clinical fellow at Therapy in the City, where she provides compassionate, client-centered care across a wide range of mental health concerns. She works with children, adolescents, and adults and is particularly interested in women’s mental health, identity development, and life transitions.

In her clinical practice, Fiona takes a holistic and individualized approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, mindfulness, and relational modalities. She is dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment that fosters connection and growth.

Fiona is especially passionate about supporting women as they navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing happens within relationships, with others and oneself.

Before joining Therapy in the City, Fiona earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at New York University Silver School of Social Work. Fiona has gained clinical experience in diverse settings, working in school-based mental health and child, family, and adult psychology.

Fiona is dedicated to supporting her clients as they grow and navigate life while respecting each client’s inner resilience.
