Katey Goldman, BA
Clinical Fellow

Katey is a compassionate and insightful clinician-in-training with a deep commitment to supporting adolescents and adults navigating eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, and identity-related challenges. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities and informed by a strong belief in the mind-body connection as a vital part of healing.

Currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University, Katey is also earning a certificate in Creative Arts and Healing. This training equips her with body-based techniques such as breathwork, grounding practices, and somatic reflection to help clients reconnect with themselves and regulate emotions in a safe, embodied way.

Prior to joining Therapy in the City, Katey interned at the National Council of Jewish Women of New York, where she supported clients through grief and loss as an intake coordinator for the Pregnancy Loss Support Program- conducting over 100 intakes and honing her ability to hold space with empathy and emotional presence.

Her passion for working with eating disorders stems from personal insight and a desire to help others feel seen, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. She views therapy as a collaborative process rooted in trust, curiosity, and connection, and strives to create a nurturing environment where clients can explore their stories and reclaim their sense of self. Outside of her clinical work, Katey is committed to living the balance she helps others cultivate- through movement, intuitive eating, rest, and meaningful relationships. She is honored to be part of the Therapy in the City team and looks forward to growing alongside a
community of thoughtful, dedicated clinicians.
