Coralle Zangi, MHC
Staff Clinician

Coralle is a dedicated mental health clinician working out of Therapy In The City’s Upper West Side office. Throughout her practice, she supports adults, children, and families from diverse populations struggling with trauma, relationships, executive functioning challenges, OCD, and anxiety related disorders.

 

Coralle’s expertise in clinical care are rooted in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention (E/RP), and mindfulness based work. She has advanced training in EMDR.

 

While creating safe, supportive spaces for her clients, Coralle facilitates change through tangible skills based interventions, meaningful insights, and inter and intrapersonal growth. Coralle understands the importance of tailoring care to each client’s unique needs, and focuses on fostering resilience and change within the context of psychological, emotional, and relational growth.

 

Prior to her career in private practice, Coralle worked in community mental health supporting families with complex trauma and family dynamic challenges. Within these roles, she developed a deep understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals and families, specifically those facing systemic barriers and issues related to marginalized communities. Coralle obtained her undergraduate degree in Communications and Psychology from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She subsequently completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University.

 

Drawing on her own diverse background, Coralle is dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s transitions, heal emotional patterns, and create authentic and fulfilling lives. Her compassionate approach empowers people to use skills and create concrete change, rebuild trust in themselves, and make active progress towards life and therapy related goals.
