Stacy Blumenreich, LMSW
Staff Clinician

Stacy Blumenreich is an NYU-trained psychotherapist working with children, teens, and adults. She treats individuals with anxiety, depression, OCD, and emotional dysregulation, and works with families using the parent management training therapy model.

Stacy is warm and non-judgemental, focusing on the strengths of each client she works with. She uses a variety of evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, depending on the needs of her clients. She has completed advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (E/RP).

Stacy received her undergraduate degree in Strategy and Management Consulting from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She concentrated in health innovation, always interested in ways to use technology to better improve people’s physical and mental health. After graduating, she worked at a global experiential marketing agency in San Francisco. Both her time at Emory and in the marketing world provided her insights into the unique challenges of high stress university and corporate environments.

Following her passion for mental health care led Stacy back to the East Coast where she attended New York University obtaining her Masters degree in Clinical Social Work. Stacy gained clinical experience at the Training Institute for Mental Health, where she saw young adults with a variety of anxiety-related disorders. Stacy now treats individuals of all ages, specializing in anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and other co-morbid disorders.

Stacy believes in the healing power of a strong therapeutic relationship, humor, goal setting, and providing clients with tools and strategies to make productive changes in their lives.
