Rachel (Rachie) Lasarow is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of adults and young adults in both individual and couples therapy modalities. Rachel primarily works with individuals and couples experiencing trauma, depression, and anxiety related disorders, as well as relationship challenges in dating and marriage.
Rachie obtained her Masters graduate degree from Wurzweiler School of Social Work with a focus on trauma. Throughout her training, she served individuals, couples, and families with various mental health challenges, including personality disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety specific disorders.
As a clinician, Rachie utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) depending on each of her clients’ needs. Over the course of her clinical career, Rachie has led therapy groups, organized clinical trainings, managed a women's transitional living facility, and provided counseling at a juvenile detention center.
Above all, Rachie brings authenticity, warmth, and a non-judgmental stance to her work. She focuses on creating a space of safety, connection, and growth, and believes that through the work of uncovering trauma, facing fears, and implementing goals, change is possible for each one of her clients.
